Your privacy is important to us. Tape is a simple measurement app. We keep things lightweight and store as little as possible.

📱 On-Device Storage

• Your measurements (name + number) are saved locally on your device using Apple-managed storage.
• We don’t run a login/account system and we don’t sync your measurement data to our servers.
• If you choose to connect Apple Health, supported measurements can also be saved to Apple Health with your permission.
• You can delete any measurement at any time from within the app.

❤️ Apple Health

• Apple Health integration is optional and write-only.
• If you choose to connect Apple Health, supported measurements such as weight, waist circumference, and body fat percentage may be saved to Apple Health with your permission.
• Apple Health permissions are controlled by Apple and can be changed by you at any time in the Health app or iPhone Settings.
• We do not read or import your Apple Health data.
• We do not upload your measurement data to our servers.

🔌 Network Traffic

• The app makes network requests only for optional links or services you choose to use, such as support email, terms, or subscription-related services.
• There are no ads and no third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
• Measurement data is not transmitted to our servers.

🔐 Security

• Data at rest: your measurements are stored in Apple-managed storage on your device.
• If you enable Apple Health, supported measurements are written to Apple Health only with your permission.
